Phrasal Verbs : Car
1. Fill up : 기름을 채우다

• Hey, can we stop by the gas station on the way so I can fill up?

2. Cut off / Cut in 갑자기 끼어들다

• That car cut me off when changing lanes. I almost got into a wreck.

• 저 차가 차선 바꿀때 끼어들었다니까. 사고날 뻔했어.

3. Roll up / Roll down 창문을 올리다 / 내리다

• Can you roll down the window for a minute to air it out?

4. Pull up  주차를 하다. 차를 옆에 대다

• I want you to pull up to next block. I need to stop by there for a minute.
• 다음 블록에서 차를 좀 세워봐. 나 저기 잠깐만 들러야 되거든.

5. Pull over 가장자리에 차를 대다, 차를 잠시 세우다

• I got pulled over for speeding and got a ticket.
• 과속하다 경찰에 걸려서 갓길에 세웠지. 딱지도 끊겼고.

6. Run into 차로 사람 치다. 부딪히다.

• I accidentally ran into someone while pulling over yesterday.

7. Let out / drop off 차에서 내려두다

• Could you let me out at the next block? I’ll catch the bus from there.

8. Hit the road 출발하다. 여정을 시작하다

• Are you ready to hit the road? Hey, you’re not a Sunday driver(초보운전), are you?
